Description
Andrew Corsa (1762-1852) resided in what is now Bronx County during the Revolutionary War. In July 1781 he guided the American and French forces under Washington and Rochambeau during their reconnaissance in force against the British defenses of Manhattan. It provides an introduction to Corsa’s service and his family.
