Join us at the 147th Annual Meeting of the Westchester County Historical Society for the awarding of the 2021 Sy Schulman History Award to the Susan Seal, President of the Friends of Odell House Rochambeau Headquarters and Anne Stillman, President and CEO of the Bird Homestead and Meeting House.
A brief business meeting will be held for the membership to elect to the WCHS Board of Trustees: Nina Aaron of Ossining, Rev. Jeffrey Geary of White Plains, Ray Geselbracht of Bronxville, Susan Jainchill of Ardsley, Dr. Robert Murray of Cold Spring, and Lee Pollock of Yorktown each for a second three-year term; and to elect Joyce Cole of Ossining and John Gould of Scarsdale each to a first three-year term.
Evelyne H. Ryan, Executive Director of the Bedford Historical Society, will introduce us to the extraordinary work of the preservation organization. Following, WCHS Librarian Patrick Raftery and members of Friends of the Bedford Burial Grounds will lead an informal walk through the cemetery located right next to Historical Hall.
Free parking is available across the street, in front of Saint Patrick’s Church. It is a public lot with no time restrictions.
WCHS is grateful to the Bedford Historical Society for generously hosting the 2021 Annual Meeting at a greatly reduced rate.
Reservations are limited to 80 people.
